I'm sitting here listening to my girl, Nataly's EP that just dropped today. Check it out if you have a second, it's beautifully done! My favorite song so far is "Palm Trees".
Today I changed it up and shot on a solid background. At first I was really skeptical of the results of the shoot, but my sister never fails to deliver with her photography. I wanted to go for a grungey/edgey look for today with the mesh shirt but somehow it turned into a strangely elegant ensemble, of course my grandmother would beg to differ on the 'elegant' front. I think showing skin in unconventional ways, such as mesh, is a modern twist on the cleavage top that swept street fashion up for the last 30 years. I used the fur to transition the harshness of the see through mesh into something that streamlines my figure, while adding some great texture. When in doubt, add texture. Texture is so much more interesting than print, in my opinion.
