Today was a day of change, but I think I'll leave the little details for a weight loss update. For now, let's just say things will be better!
For starters, I would just like to give kudos to Sheinside for making an XL dress! I don't know the company well enough to say they do this often, but I was more than pleased to see this wonderful dress in an XL. It's really lose actually and the collar does not choke me so all in all I'd say this 17 somethin' dollar dress isn't too shabby! I was a little self conscious to bare the body con dress in it's full Wednesday Adams glory, and I also wanted to keep warm, so I quickly decided to put on my warm and cozy Forever 21 sweater. This sweater is so lovely because of the texture and different speckled colors it has throughout, and it really ties in the black and white in my outfit. Now the star of the show is definitely my new Jeffrey Campbell Scully's! I have been lusting over these shoes ever since I saw some YouTubers rock them (*cough* Stephanie Villa *Cough*). I scour the Jeffrey Campbell Buy/Sell/Swap group on Facebook frequently and I came across these absolutely gorgeous, perfect condition Scully's and for $100 I screamed. I sold some things on eBay so I had the money fortunately and I snatched them up before anyone else could! The seller was super nice and she made the experience so quick and easy, and within four days I became the proud new owner of the white Scully. I wanted these shoes in white specifically because I need more white platforms, seeing that I only have... one? I'm not complaining of course, I just love seeing my collections expand after working to make the money to support it. It's really a satisfying feeling to be like... These JC's? I bought them, with my money. Pretty cool being an adult!
That's my lengthy post for the day, I hope you all are doing well and remembering to love what you have! I've been doing some serious life reflection recently and I have been making a conscious effort to be more grateful and aware of what I had been granted in life. I hope you all see the beauty life has to offer (beyond shoes and lipstick), including your own radiance!
Stay well dressed and I will be back tomorrow :-)
