Welcome, to the first installment of my favorite series I have EVER created...
"I'D BUY THAT"
Now I know what you're thinking... What the hell is this and what does it mean. Well it is a series I created over on my YouTube channel about a year ago where I feature a specific website and pick out clothing from the sale section and create a hypothetical shopping cart (not an outfit!) that I would buy if I had the money. The post is never sponsored unless said otherwise.
Simple right?
Awesome. Now let's get into this first installment of I'd Buy That, with your host, Sabrina.

Today I am featuring Asos.com (the US version of the site because it's where I'm from lol).
What I love about Asos is that not only do they have a huge selection of clothing for standard sizes but they also have Asos Curve. Now I know what you plus sized ladies are thinking... Why would I even bother with a plus size clothing line because let's face it... They don't make cute clothes for us heavier gals! BUT Asos Curve is different, I promise. Asos Curve provides very trendy and down right lovable pieces that I am yearning to buy every time I check up on the site. My favorite part of Asos Curve is their denim, I recently bought a pair of size 18 shredded jeans and they are BEAUTIFUL, well at least thats what my Mom said (I'm in North Carolina and I couldn't open the package myself). Without further ado let's talk about the pieces I picked out.

The first dress I picked out is this mock turtleneck shift dress. This dress runs from sizes 2-14 which is pretty standard for Asos. This dress seems to have beautiful shape and flow, being that it is composed of mostly polyester. It's not too breezy that it would billow up at the slightest bit of wind, but obviously don't wear this in a full on storm, like any dress or skirt, unless exposing your backside is your thing- u do u gurl. This dress would look fantastic with a thick wool trench coat of any color. I would personally add a purple coat with this for the extra color that an all black ensemble would lack in.

Now this coat is probably the coat of my dreams for winter 14/15. It's thick and warm and doesn't require a ton of layering underneath in order to be sufficient for colder climates, which I learned is very hard to find in a coat since being on the east coast for the last few days. The outfit on the model is not flattering for the coat IMO, I would style it with a busy light pink printed dress or a light pink turtle neck with some black skinnies. This coat also comes in sizes 2-14.

I just noticed how strange Asos's sale prices are. Probably some percent slashed it at a weird rate, anyways! I think these shoes are so unique. I always look for shoes that have an extra oomph to them. The offset platform really exaggerates the curve of the foot which I think can be very elegant or casual when paired correctly. I can say with confidence that these shoes would be incredibly easy to throw together an outfit with because they are so inspiring and the combos are endless. I may have preferred the shoe without the zipper accent but I think the zipper was mostly meant for functionality, which you cannot exclude.
$32.22
I have to admit, Asos without fail always nails their hand bag game. Though every time I glance at their site I fall in love with a bag, I have never bought a bag from Asos! This bag is patent faux leather and I am an animals right activist so I prefer to not buy leather or fur because in my opinion there are so many wonderful dupes of leather bags and faux fur jackets that its really unnecessary to buy real animal products. That's just my opinion! What's always a must for me is the bag must have a cross body strap included because I won't wear a bag any other way. I hate shoulder bags so much unless I'm carrying it on the crook of my arm which is a total pain when I'm out running errands or shopping, so I tend to veer away from those types of hand bags. The structure of this bag is gorgeous and the shine the fabric has is the perfect way to spice up an all black look.
