I am officially in North Carolina! It was a terrible anxiety filled plane ride but I'm finally here to draft patterns and make clothing with my grandmother. 

This outfit was inspired by Masha Sedgwick on lookbook. I decided to change up the outfit with a flannel tied around my waist as a mock skirt! This is one of my oldest tricks in the book, and I love it because I can have a plaid skirt with any flannel I have without having to buy another set of skirts! The leather jacket is from Forever 21 plus because I wanted it to be oversized enough to layer sweaters underneath. Lastly I went with my Tardy Lo's by Jeffrey Campbell because these have been my dream shoes ever since I saw Jenn Im feature them in a look book back in 2011. This is my first time ever wearing them too!
